Two hand painted murals for Topman stores in London and Essex. Designed to show the local flavour of the area.

I was commissioned by Topman to design and paint a mural in the new London Stratford store. The mural was to be installed just before the London Olympics and the brief was to reflect the local area in the design. I decided to take my influence from the local architecture and of course the ubiquitous London pigeon.
The design was so well received that I was asked to design and paint a similar mural in Topman Lakeside, Essex. I took a trip to the seafront at Southend to find inspiration for this painting. One thing I noticed in Essex is that no matter what the weather, people on the sea front can always eat an ice cream. If anything it melts less quickly in the rain.
